Not sure? Read on and I guarantee you’ll have a list of favorites before you’re done!

Flowers are living creatures as are their human counterparts. So it’s only natural that they too would have names to represent their unique self. However, unlike people's names which represent personality traits, flower names symbolize the emotional affect the flowers will have on the buyer and recipient.

For example, if we give a baby the name Gregory, he will be a ‘vigilant watchful.’ But when he grows up and gives a bouquet of Stargazer lilies to his girlfriend, his message will whisper: ‘I see heaven in your eyes.’ Cool, isn't it? I live for this kind of symbolic stuff. ;-)

Flowers have been proven to have a beneficial psychological affect on people. According to a study conducted at Rutgers University, flowers can have a tremendous impact on our emotional lives. After receiving a flower, a person immediately feels happier, his mood improves, and his desire for intimate connection blossoms.

Having said that, I strongly recommend that you invest in the Flower of the Month Club. Members of this club receive a monthly selection of fresh, exotic flowers delivered directly to their home from the world’s finest flower growers. Yup...little pieces of sunshine delivered right to your recipient's doorstep once a month. Great for them and actually not to shaby for you either. How come? Well, because you'll have at least one sleepless night during the month. ;-)

Now that I've made you happy, I'd like to tell you about something that I'm excited about. Unknowingly, while explaining the positive affects of flowers on human emotion, science has also confirmed my original hypothesis about becoming a flower yourself. Have I lost you? Sorry. Click on the following link Romantic Flowers: The gardener's Day: A romantic game for two and you'll understand what I'm talking about. My idea for the Gardner's Game evolved from my hypothesis that it's not always enough to simply give and receive flowers...but that sometimes it's necessary to go as far as becoming a flower yourself. Yup...you, a flower. Didn't think all of this would be that simple, did you? ;-)

Anyway, whether you choose to play my unique invention ‘the gardener’s day,’ or decide to go the traditional route of enjoying a flower, you still need to find your unique flower name within the abundant universe of flower names. Don't start sweating...it’ll be easy. You already know who you are and what you want to say. The flower name should pop out at you almost immediately.

So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and find your soul within the vast universe of romantic flower names. (for additional ideas, visit 1-800-FLORALS)

By the way, don't forget that a plant can sometimes do as good a job at invigorating the soul as can a flower!
